PreOrder?

I see what I think are two new emails -- Preorder Notification and Preorder Payment Due -- what the heck is a pre-order? I don't see anything about it in support docs.

There also seems to be a new tag in the email. "[preorder_notifydays]".

I checked the app store, there does not seem to be any preorder apps. Perhaps they are planning this as an updated feature. They have gone silent about updates the last few month. The store has been updated twice without a change log posted.

This is something I am really interested in. It missed the Version 8 release - was in their pre-release information. In the quilting world - we take pre-orders of new products and when they are released, send and do a final charge. I have seen people use wait lists and then manually charge a deposit or progress payments. Will be great news when this is available.

Looks like there are several votes for a "pre-order app" on the uservoice site. Probably something in the works for the next big release.
