I have been complaining about the 3dcart speed for a long time now. They are telling me I need to upgrade my site using Bootstrap. Has anyone had experience with this and can Shaun design a site using Bootstrap?

Depending on how modern your site is and the size of the image files, they could be right. Bootstrap is the framework they use for the core themes. It was originally designed by twitter. It's easy to work with. Any Core theme can be customized. Sean (thecartdesigner ) can probably help you with that. 3dcart's using an old, non-supported version of bootstrap. Last I heard they weren't planning on updating to the current version.
